Rotary International Foundation & The Rotary Club of Western Johnson County Foundation
Interested in financially supporting other worthwhile Rotary causes?  Both Rotary International and The Rotary Club of Western Johnson County offer additional ways you can help!  (Note: non-Rotarians can also donate to either the RIAF or the RCWJCF!)

Rotary International Annual Fund (RIAF)
  • Donations made to the Rotary International Annual Fund (RIAF) are split between the World Fund and District Designated Funds.
  • District Designated Funds are given back to each District.
  • The District distributes that money to each club via District Grants.
  • The amount of money a club receives from a District Grant is influenced by club member's donations to the RIAF (the more we give, the more we get!)
Past District Grant projects we've done include: Sleep in Heavenly Peace, bicycle helmets for kids at Rosehill Elementary School, and more!
Rotary club members also get recognition for donations to the RIAF.
  • As a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) when they've given at least $1,000 to the RIAF (or other qualified programs like PolioPlus).
  • For every additional $1,000, members move up another PHF level.
  • Each level is recognized by RI with a PHF pin (recognition is capped at $9,000 lifetime).
  • In addition to the PHF recognition, members who give $1,000 or more each year are recognized as a member of the Paul Harris Society.
Donating to the RIAF is EASY!  You can do a one-time donation or setup an automatic, recurring donation.  Instructions for donating to the RIAF can be found here: RIAF Donations
Rotary Club of Western Johnson County Foundation (RCWJCF)
  • A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working with and organized by the members of the Rotary Club of Western Johnson County.
  • Donations collected through the RCWJCF are managed and used at the club's discretion.
  • Money is kept at the local club level and used for community projects the club wants to help with.
  • The RCWJCF is held by the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation.
Past projects that we've supported with funds from the RCWJCF include: Charlie's House, Veterans Community Project, CASA of Johnson and Wyandotte Counties, and more!
