Welcome and THANK YOU for your interest in the Rotary Club of Western Johnson County!
What is Rotary?  Rotary International is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.  This short video better explains what Rotarians have found since joining Rotary!  ROTARY VIDEO
As Rotarians, our club members serve the Kansas City community through volunteering, fundraising, and service projects.  A few of the community projects our club has been recently involved with include:
  • Annually volunteering at the Johnson County Christmas Bureau
  • Neighbors Helping Neighbors (connecting community homeowners who need help with volunteers who want to serve!)
  • 2021 Lenexa Peace Poles (with auction proceeds benefiting Project 1020, Johnson County's only shelter for adults who are experiencing homelessness)
  • 2022 Virtual Music Bingo Fundraiser (with proceeds benefiting CASA of Johnson & Wayandotte Counties and Veterans Community ProjectCASA volunteers work with young people in the Kansas City area that are going through the court systems alone.  Veterans Community Project provides housing and support for our homeless KC military Veterans!
  • and much more!
Our club meets twice per month at the Blue Moose in Lenexa on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month 5:15p - 6:30p.  A typical meeting agenda includes some time to socialize together with food and drinks, club updates, and a special guest speaker.
Who can join Rotary?  ANYONE!  If you're committed to community service through personal involvement, Rotary could be a great fit for you!
Can anyone come to a meeting?  Yes!  If you'd like to learn more about Rotary, PLEASE come to a meeting.  We're a small but fun group!  We would love to have you!
What does Rotary cost?  Our club dues are $250 every 6 months (only $1.37 per day!)  This includes food at club meetings, as well as the membership dues to Rotary International, a monthly mailed Rotary magazine, and more!  Learn more about our membership dues here:  MEMBER DUES
