Johnson County Square Ribbon Cutting and Tree Grove Dedication
Johnson County Government and county partners will formally open the new Johnson County Square with a ribbon-cutting ceremony from 1 to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9. In addition, the Rotary Tree Grove of the County Square will be dedicated. The open space sits in the heart of Olathe, across from the new Johnson County Courthouse. Each Rotary club in Johnson County contributed funds to make the Rotary Tree Grove possible!
The event will be streamed live on jocogov.org/JoCoSquare and on Facebook Live. The public is encouraged to watch online. Limited seating will be available. Physical distancing will be implemented, and masks are strongly encouraged. Public parking is available at the downtown garage, located at Cherry and Loula streets.
