Barbara consulted on and critiqued an executive simulation conducted at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. She is often interviewed on radio as a communications expert and was featured in The Kansas City Star newspaper for her book, “It’s HOW You Say It® ” Effective Business Communication Skills. Barbara holds the prestigious CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) designation. Less than 12% of more than 5,000 members of the National Speakers Association and Global Speakers Federation have earned this distinction. She is the immediate past president of the National Speakers Association (NSA), Kansas City chapter, and is an adjunct professor for MBA and E (Executive) MBA students with Rockhurst University. Barbara lives in the Kansas City area with her husband, Adam, and their rambunctious dog Aspen. They are the proud parents of an honors college junior daughter at Colorado State University.
